MAJS is pleased to announce for our public safety clients that the PORAC Institute has once-again selected partners Alison Berry Wilkinson and Lina Balcuinas Cockrell to teach the highly-rated two-day (16-hour) Internal Affairs course, which will be held December 2-3, 2025 at the Marin County Sheriff's Office. Evaluations from past classes taught by this team included comments such as: “This course is a master class on how to be an effective representative!” and “The instructors possess a wealth of knowledge - one of the best classes I’ve ever attended.” Alison will also teach the separate, but related, 4-hour course on Avoiding Decertification for Bias on December 4, 2025.

We encourage any of our clients with an interest in these topics or who want to learn how to be an effective representative for members involved in disciplinary proceedings to register as soon as possible on the PORAC Institute website. Space is limited!
