James W. Henderson, Jr.




Jim has been a civil litigation attorney for over 39 years and has practiced in Sacramento since 1985. His primary focus is in employment litigation, counseling and mediation. He has handled court and jury trials as well as binding arbitrations in a variety of matters including wrongful termination, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, real estate fraud, construction defect, personal injury involving catastrophic injury, inadequate security and motor vehicle consumer warranty.

Jim focuses his practice on civil litigation, including the following areas: employment law, business torts, creditors’ rights, real estate broker breach of duty, third-party administrator breach of duty, real estate, construction defect, product liability, consumer warranty.

He has handled both court and jury trials, as well as binding arbitrations in a variety of matters, including: motor vehicle consumer warranty, inadequate security, real estate fraud, personal injury involving catastrophic injury, breach of contract, wrongful termination, construction defect.

PRESENTATIONS
Jim has addressed public and private groups regarding a variety of legal topics. Most recently Jim was a panelist at the 2013 American Bar Association Annual Labor and Employment Law Conference held in New Orleans, Louisiana. In addition Jim has served as a panelist and lecturer on a variety of employment and litigation issues and has also served as a defense attorney in a mock trial of an ADA claim presented by the Labor and Employment Section of the Sacramento County Bar Association
