Wendi J. Berkowitz

Wendi is an experienced litigator, trial lawyer and negotiator. Over her three-decade career, she has been engaged in almost every area of civil litigation. Her current labor and employment practice focuses on advice and counsel, civil litigation, arbitration, mediation, trainings, and investigations.

Wendi came to Messing Adam & Jasmine LLP after eleven years at Schiff Hardin LLP (27 years all told between Schiff Hardin and Morgenstein & Jubelirer LLP, the litigation boutique that in 2007 combined with and became Schiff Hardin’s San Francisco office). Wendi brings to MAJ her extensive complex and high-stakes litigation experience, her trial and arbitration savvy, and her careful and meticulous strategizing skill. Before leaving Schiff Hardin, and among many other notable accomplishments, Wendi was a key player on the plaintiffs’ team in a multi-year, multi-phase fraudulent conveyance case that resulted in a $575 million payout for the plaintiffs
