Strengthening MAJS with Three Exceptional Lawyers

Francis “Frank” Flaherty joins MAJS as a partner after more than 30 years with Dyer Lawrence, where he represented police officers, correctional officers, firefighters, teachers, nurses, and other public employees in arbitrations, administrative proceedings, and state and federal courts. A Past President of the State Bar of Nevada and Fellow of both the American Bar Foundation and the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, Frank brings extraordinary credibility, leadership, and depth of experience in labor and employment law.

Thomas J. Donaldson, a Nevada native and longtime Dyer Lawrence partner, also joins MAJS as a partner. He has devoted the majority of his career to representing public employee labor associations and their members in administrative and employment-related proceedings. Tom’s decades of experience before Nevada’s courts and agencies reinforce MAJS’s core mission of delivering disciplined, effective advocacy to labor clients throughout the state.

Sue S. Matuska, licensed in both Nevada and California, joins MAJS with extensive experience in labor law, appellate practice, government relations, election and campaign finance law, and estate planning. Her background as Senior Deputy Legislative Counsel for the Nevada Legislative Counsel Bureau adds unique strength to MAJS’s ability to advise clients not only in litigation and administrative forums, but also in the legislative and policy arenas that increasingly shape public sector employment.
